Franklin Monroe, wearing an environment-proof suit and helmet hacks his way through a thick forest. He uses a small laser-sword.

It’s hot in this area, which slowly reveals itself to be an overgrown city. Nobody has been here in a long time. Grass, kudzu and other plants cover every surface.

A small oval-shaped robot flies ahead of him, scanning the area. This is Servo, the robot.

Servo tells him he has another click to go. Franklin doesn't know what a click is. Servo tells him.

Servo continues in the direction they were previously headed.

Franklin follows, continuing to hack his way through the overgrowth.

Servo flies along, scanning ahead. A few beeps reveal he’s found something. He flies back to Franklin and tells him to take a break.

Franklin does. He turns the laser sword off and the blade disappears.

Franklin pushes one of the buttons on his wrist and a small tube extrudes inside his helmet and gives him water.

Servo says they are coming upon a parking lot. It’s still overgrown, but it seems to be our destination.

Servo says there are things in the parking lot. Living things.

Franklin pulls out a set of digital binoculars and scans the area.

Servo tells him the hidden animals are large dangerous cats.

Franklin asks Servo for suggestions.

Servo tells him to use a sonic disruptor.

Franklin pulls off his backpack. He unzips it and pulls out a round object about the size of a baseball.

Franklin moves close enough to see the lower level of overgrowth in the parking lot.

Franklin throws the round object towards the parking lot. It lands in the middle of the parking lot. It explodes, emitting a land whistling sound. The level of sound is piercing, but Franklin’s helmet protects him.

More than a dozen large, striped cat-like creatures are not so lucky. The sound shatters their eardrums. One second there are no cats, a second later they are everywhere, bleeding from the ears. They all take off running. Seconds later, they’re all gone.

Servo says the parking lot is clear, for now.

Franklin asks where the building is. Servo directs him.

Franklin starts walking towards the building, hacking at the undergrowth where necessary.

Franklin asks Servo where the door is.

Servo flies ahead and scans the building. In the middle of the wall, ground level, it finds a set of double doors.

Franklin makes his way to a spot Servo indicates. He starts clawing the kudzu from the wall. He uncovers the double doors.

He pulls a foot-long metal rod from his backpack. He clears away plants and dirt on the crevice between the doors. He sticks the pole against the crevice. Two flat metal arms extend from the rod and dig through the crevice into the building.

Franklin pushes a button on the rod and the arms swivel from each other and clamp hard against the doors. He pushes another button and the arms rip the doors apart, crumpling them and opening the doorway to Franklin, who goes inside.

He tells Servo to scan for structural soundness. Servo scans the walls, floor and ceiling and says the building is undamaged.

Franklin goes deeper into the building. Servo flies ahead of him.

Franklin asks for a map.

Inside the building, the only light comes through the tiny gaps between the kudzu vines and leaves that cover the building’s many windows. Franklin’s helmet is equipped with lights that let him clearly see anything he looks at. His peripheral vision, though, is nil.

Servo projects a map of this floor of the building onto a blank wall. Franklin studies it.

Franklin asks who his target is.

Servo says it's Dr. Fatima Boyd, in room 227. Her office glows bright green on the map Servo has projected. Franklin notes the directions.

Servo makes a joke, then flies ahead in the direction of Boyd’s office. Franklin follows.

Servo says he's been learning about comedy. Franklin warns him against studying Bill Cosby.

Franklin stops walking at stares at an emergency escape map. At the top is a big header that says “Nixon Testing Facility” and “Escape Plan” above a map of the building. Someone has spray-painted the word “No” in front of the header so it reads “No Escape Plan.”

Servo hurries him along.

Franklin turns to follow Servo. As he does, he kicks something on the floor and it scitters into the wall. He leans down and picks it up. It’s an ID. He stares at the stunningly beautiful photo of a Black woman: Dr. Magdalena Morrissey. He stares at it, sad now. He puts the ID in his backpack and follows Servo.

Servo turns left and continues down the hall. Franklin jogs to catch up.

Franklin stares at the nameplate on the door: Dr. Fatima Boyd. He pulls out the door opening rod, but he tries the handle and finds the door unlocked. He puts the rod away. He opens the door and goes inside.

Franklin sits at Dr. Boyd’s desk, looking through the files in the drawers. Franklin tries the last drawer, but it’s locked. He's looking for something called the G.R.A.L.E.

Franklin pulls out the rod and uses it to strip the lock. He opens the drawer and searches the files. He finds what he’s looking for and pulls out a folder labeled “G.R.A.L.E.”

The G.R.A.L.E. schematic is laid out on the desk. Franklin studies it, while Servo scans it from above. It’s clearly some kind of bomb.

It’s in basement lab 3A. Servo hurries them along. Servo flies towards the stairwell. Franklin follows.

Franklin and Servo stand in front of a stairwell that was clearly bombed. There’s no passing through this wreckage. They can't go that way.

Franklin and Servo stand in front of another bombed-out stairwell. That way is blocked, too.

Franklin stares down the dark, empty elevator shaft. It’s the only way to the lab.

Servo tells Franklin to rappel.

Franklin rappels down the elevator shaft carefully. The line he holds onto is attached to Servo. After a few more movements, Franklin touches down on the elevator shaft floor. He pulls out the door opening rod.

Franklin stands outside Lab 3A. Servo hovers nearby, scanning the lab. The lab has a radiation leak. Franklin will have to be fast.

Franklin rips the door the lab and rushes in. Servo blocks the door to keep it open. Franklin runs towards a closet towards the back of the lab. He pulls the handle, but it’s locked.

Franklin reaches towards his backpack. He feels around for the rod. He gets a curious look on his face. He pulls out Dr. Magdalena Morrissey’s ID. It’s a swipe card. Franklin smiles. He swipes the card on the cabinet. A light flashes green on the swipe box. The cabinet opens. Franklin pulls the doors open to reveal the G.R.A.L.E. He smiles.

Franklin pulls an inflatable sled behind him. The G.R.A.L.E. rests on the sled. Servo follows behind. They follow the path Franklin hacked on his way to the Nixon Facility.

Servo says Franklin he is 0.37 miles from the checkpoint.

Servo stops and scans the forest ahead. He detects two humans hiding in the undergrowth. They are clearly attuned to Franklin presence.

Two guys leap from the bushes. They are confederates.

Franklin drops the sled and pulls out his laser-sword, but he doesn’t light it up yet.

The Confederates move to either side to flank Franklin.

He lights the laser-sword. The Confederates show fear, but they continue advancing.

Dean is closest to Franklin, so he rushes at the Black man.

Franklin takes a quick look at Marty, who stands his ground. Franklin turns to face Dean.

Dean approaches and swings the spiked bat at Franklin. Franklin slices the bat in half with the laser-sword. Dean stares at him, incredulous.

Franklin readies to attack Dean. Marty comes out of nowhere, knocking Franklin to the ground. The laser-sword goes flying.

Marty pins Franklin’s arms to the ground and punches him in the face twice.

Servo tries to warn Franklin.

Dean activates the G.R.A.L.E.

Franklin tosses Marty off of him and scrambles to his feet.

G.R.A.L.E. Detonates, releasing a nuclear explosion.

Franklin, Servo, Dean and Marty are vaporized.
