Superspy Jacques Barbier rides a motorcycle to the front of an abandoned warehouse. He checks his Walther PPK to make sure it is loaded. He opens his phone and an app called "MooVers" and sets a ride to arrive in 5 minutes. He walks to the front door, takes a breath and goes inside.

Jacques walks into the abandoned warehouse, open-armed and friendly. Inside is a van and two Dodge chargers. A dozen men stand in front of the vehicles and line the catwalks around the room. At the center of these men is Rimbaldi. Rimbaldi makes a joke and Jacques calls him childish. The two are old foes and share a mutual respect.

One of Rimbaldi's goons, Mickey, opens up the van to show Henri, a man who has been beaten in bruised and is restrained by a zip tie. Rimbaldi tells Jacques that Henri is okay, they didn't even hurt him. To bad. Henri says he's okay.

Jacques tells them he's taking Henri and putting him in a car, then he'll bring Rimbaldi "it." Mickey and the goons want to take him, but Rimbaldi holds them back. He's skeptical, but amused. He turns Henri over to Jacques and warns him that if he fails to live up to the deal, there's nowhere that Rimbaldi can't find Jacques and Henri. Jacques takes Henri outside and Mickey questions his boss, who isn't worried.

Outside, Jacques helps get Henri into a rideshare car driven by Steff. Jacques watches them drive away and then opens the compartment on the back of his bike, pulls out a saddlebag and goes back inside.

Jacques walks back inside and Rimbaldi makes fun of Mickey for thinking Jacques wouldn't come back. Jacques tells Rimbaldi he's changed his mind. He pulls out a gun and shoots two goons, killing them. Rimbaldi runs for cover as the other goons go for their weapons. Mickey rushes towards Jacques. Jacques uses one of the goons as cover to block sniper fire. He turns around and takes out two snipers.

Goons start to hide, except Mickey, who fires his Glock at Jacques. Jacques throws the now-dead body of the goon at Mickey, knocking him down. Jacques takes out two more snipers. Rimbaldi sends Babe and Whitey to sneak around behind Jacques outside. Jacques takes out another sniper. He tells Rimbaldi that he doesn't want to kill him, but Jacques is keeping the passage. Jacques takes out the last sniper.

Jacques stands above Rimbaldi, holding him at gunpoint. He tells Rimbaldi to order his goons to stand down. They do. Outside, Babe and Whitey stand before the front door. They debate and decide to go inside. Inside, Jacques knocks them both out. He bids farewell and leaves. Outside he hops on his motorcycle and drives away.

Babe awakens to Rimbaldi raging. He frees is boss and Rimbaldi pops a pill. Babe frees the others and Rimbaldi tells Babe and Whitey to go get Jacques. Mickey asks if he's supposed to follow, too, but Rimbaldi says he has another mission. Babe and Whitey drive Dodge Chargers out of the warehouse.

Jacques speeds down the highway, weaving in and out of traffic. Babe and Whitey gain on him. Jacques sees them gaining and he tries to speed away, but the cars are faster. Whitey accelerates and is only a few car lengths behind Jacques. Jacques passes a semi and then cuts in front of it, nearly getting hit. Jacques pulls into the breakdown lane and slows down. Whitey and Babe shoot past him.

Jacques pulls off the highway. Whitey and Babe see him and they pull off the road to follow, disrupting traffic. Jacques pulls into a massive parking lot with only two exits. Babe follows him in the main exit while Whitey goes to the other exit to box him in. Babe and Whitey get Jacques caught between them and Babe starts shooting at him. Jacques dodges them and drives onto the sidewalk.

At that moment, Chet arrives, carrying groceries and staring at an engagement ring in a box. Whitey and Babe's cars crash into each other slowly, but enough that they get stuck together. Whitey gets out. Jacques is about to hit Chet and he swerves. He hits a parking barrier and his bike flips into the air. While flipping through the air, Jacques pulls out his gun and shoots Babe, killing him. Jacques loses the saddle bag as he falls.

Chet is knocked to the ground, losing his groceries. Jacques lands awkwardly on his shoulder. Whitey fires at Jacques and nearly hits Chet. Chet scrambles for his car and pulls out his keys. White shoots and the bullet smashes the window of Chet's car. Jacques kills Whitey and Chet jumps into his car. Jacques double checks and puts two extra rounds into both Whitey and Babe.

Jacques tosses his helmet to the ground and grabs the saddle bag. Chet gets in his car and gets the keys into the ignition, but Jacques shows up. Jacques punches him in the face and yanks him from the car. He apologizes, but says he needs the car more than Chet does. Sirens announce the imminent arrival of cops and Jacques drives away in Chet's car.

Chet sits on the sidewalk talking to a police officer. He doesn't know much and the officer leaves him with a business card. Chet is upset that the police aren't going to do more, but the officer starts to suspect him and he gets up and walks away. Chet asks how he's going to get home and the officer tells him to call a ride.

The same rideshare driver that picked up Henri arrives to pick up Chet. The driver, Steff, tries to have a conversation with Chet about what's going on, but he's completely non-responsive. Chet realizes that he's sitting in blood. Steff notices and apologizes, saying it must have been from her last ride and she didn't notice. Chet cleans up the blood and finally starts talking to Steff. He tells her he got carjacked. She wants every detail and he tells her. Chet is late for work at the Bleak River winery. He can't take any more days off, so she drops him off. She gives him her card and tells him to send her his cleaning bill and to call her if he needs anything else.

Chet sits in his boss, Leonard's office. Chet is condescending and dismissive of Chet's lateness. Leonard asks about Yolanda, Chet's girlfriend. Leonard is clearly into Yolanda, much to Chet's chagrin. Leonard belittles Chet's relationship with Yolanda. Leonard's compliments and attraction to Yolanda (who isn't there) gets creepy. Leonard complains about Chet having a pattern of tardiness and leaving work early. Leonard fires him and has a security guard escort him out. Leonard tells him he can pick up his last check in two weeks, but only if he turns in both of his name tags before then. As Chet is escorted out, Leonard gets in one more gross remark about Yolanda.

Chet gets dropped off at the APD precinct. Inside, he talks to Officer Murray, who shows no interest in Chet's story. She tells them they have no leads and that Chet can pick his car up at the impound lot. Otherwise, she can't help him.

Chet heads to the impound lot. Xenu, who works at the lot tells Chet if he doesn't have his paperwork, he can't get the car. Chet says nobody gave him any paperwork. Xenu shrugs. Chet starts to tell Xenu his whole story, but Xenu wants nothing to do with it and just tells Chet to show ID and he can have the car.

Xenu shows Chet to his car and the car is completely trashed. Chet pulls the door off and starts rooting around inside the car. He doesn't find what he's looking for, but he does find Jacques' saddlebag. He opens up the bag and looks inside. His eyes grow big and he stares before deciding to take the bag with him. He looks around inside the car a bit more and finds what he's looking for, an engagement ring.

Chet returns home to find Yolanda masturbating. She asks if he's covered in blood, but he's too beat down to answer and he goes straight for the shower. She starts to yell at him for ignoring her and he finally answers. He tells her he got fired. She's upset and asks him what his plan is. He doesn't have one yet, none of this is his fault. Chet says maybe his boss is an asshole, but Yolanda quickly defends Leonard. She taunts him, he gets in the shower. She walks out of the room.

After his shower, Chet walks out to realize that Yolanda is gone. She left the front door open and his dog is Fetch is missing. That's where Chet draws the line, he runs out the front door looking for the dog. He realizes where the dog would go and runs to Ms. Havisham's house.

Chet arrives at Ms. Havisham's house and she's feeding his dog Fetch raw steak. Fetch loves it. Chet thanks her for watching the dog again. She seems to hate him. He reminds her that she shouldn't be feeding him raw steak. She says he likes it. He tries to argue, but she walks away. Fetch finishes up and joins Chet, who laments that he's going to have to give Fetch his medicine when they get home.

Chet returns to his apartment only to see three grey Dodge Chargers waiting out front. They are inside his apartment, looking for him. He hides behind a tree and sees the men set his apartment on fire. Fetch barks and he quiets the dog. He takes Fetch and goes back the way he came. He takes the dog back to Ms. Havisham and she agrees to watch the dog, while sending as much venom in Chet's direction as possible.

Chet walks down the street when two Dodge Chargers turn onto the street. The driver of the first car, Mickey, spots Chet. He orders the goons to get him and four men jump out of the cars and give chase on foot. Mickey and the driver of the other Charger, a Lady Goon, drive around the block, trying to close in on Chet.

Chet sneaks through a backyard past an above-ground pool. He picks up a baseball bat as he hears a Charge drive by and hides behind the pool. He gets up and moves towards the back of the yard when he sees two of the goons following him. He tries to hide, but they see him and they start shooting at him.

Someone inside the house hears the gunfire and wakes up, asking them what's going on. Chet sneaks away as the goons talk to the annoyed resident. They tell him they are police and they are on police business. The resident is skeptical, but the goon waves his Glock and the resident goes back inside and turns out the lights. Chet sneaks out through the back of the yard. The goons follow.

Chet crosses a street and goes into another backyard. It's overgrown and he has to stomp the grass down to move through it. He notices that it leaves an obvious trail. He quickly makes a fake trail and hides behind a shed. Two goons arrive and they split up. One goon ends up in the street and checks in with Mickey, telling him that they've found a trail.

Chet hits the goon with the bat and knocks him out. Chet empties his Glock and throws the clip over the fence. He runs through the next yard and into the street. He throws the gun down the drain.

The other goon spots Chet at fires. Chet ducks into a back yard as more bullets fly. Another neighbor wakes up and the goon tells him it's police business. This guy buys it.

Chet cuts between yards as the goon almost catches up. Chet sees a part and runs for it. He hides in a concrete pipe on the playground. A Charger drives by, but the driver, Mickey, doesn't see Chet. He falls asleep in the pipe.

The next morning, a group of kids wake Chet up. They think he's homeless. Chet pulls out Steff's card and remembers who she is. He calls her to pick him up and she arrives shortly after that. She tells him to sit up front since he's not a fare.

Steff drives while Chet gets her up-to-date. He mentions that he lost his girlfriend and she inquires for more and learns that he was going to propose. They seem to get close. She says they're going to her place. She parks on a side street and they sneak inside.

Steff has just moved into her house and most things are still in boxes and there isn't much furniture. Steff listens to what's going on over a police scanner. The chatter is that he's in deep shit. She turns the scanner on. His apartment has been burned to the ground. The chief is ready to catch this guy. He's being blamed for the murder of "the French guy." She tells him he dropped off the French guy earlier and he was still aside.

He didn't order his own ride, so they can't contact him, but his friend's info is in the app. She looks him up and it's James St. John Smythe. She texts James and tells him to call her.

There is a knock at the door as Bryant arrives. He bangs on the door demanding to be let in. Steff hides Chet in a closet. Her ex is a member of a biker gang called the Glow Skulls. She gives him a code word to join in if things get out of hand.

Bryant pounds on the door until Steff opens it. He pushes past her and asks if she's alone. She tells him to get out. He tells her to shut the door. She says no. He shuts it anyway and asks her what she's gotten into lately. In the closet, Chet grabs a baseball bat and gets ready. Bryant says he's hearing all kinds of shit about her, that she's a high profile target. He grabs her by the arm when someone knocks at the front door.

He quiets her down and checks the door. Steff uses the code word and Chet opens the closet door. Bryant looks through the peephole and someone shoots him. Whoever it is tries to break down the front door. Chet and Steff slip out the back door just as Mickey and his goons bust through the front door. They hear sirens in the distance and Mickey tells them to check the place quickly and get out. Mickey finds the back door unlocked and is suspicious. The other goons find nothing. Mickey walks right past the saddle bag as they leave, not even noticing it.

Chet and Steff wait out back when Chet realizes he forgot the saddle bag. They sneak to the street and get in Steff's car and drive off. Murray and other officers arrive and Murray notices Steff's car driving off, but can't figure out why it's grabbing her attention. They go inside.

Murray stands in the living room. George and the other officers have searched the house. They found nothing. Murray notices the saddle bag. She looks inside and confirms that it is evidence. She grabs the bag and walks out the front door. The other cops are baffled, but follow.

Chet rides up front with Steff for the first time. He worries what they're going to do now. She asks what was in the saddle bag and he doesn't know how to describe it. She says they need to find a place to hide until everything blows over. Chet remembers the guy from the MooVers app and asks to see her phone so he can check out the guy's picture. He finds the pic and it is definitely Jacques, the guy who jacked Chet's car, NOT St. John Smythe. The guy says he wants to meet them.

Steff parks outside a fast food restaurant and checks for Jacques. Chet looks, too, but they can't find him. They go inside to order food. Steff has to pay because Chet is broke. They wait for their order when Jacques arrives outside. Steff takes Chet outside to meet Jacques.

Steff and Chet approach Jacques. He immediately asks where it is. Chet says he doesn't know what Jacques is talking about and Jacques calls him a liar. Jacques keeps pushing and Chet says he doesn't have it. He says the cops probably have it. Several Dodge Chargers approach them. Chet says maybe the Glow Skulls have it.

Jacques spots the Chargers. He hands a card to Steff and says put it away. She does. Jacques says they're surrounded by Rimbaldi's associates. Chet says it's the same guys that tried to kill him last night. Jacques tells them to visit the woman on the card if anything happens to him.

Mickey arrives and says Rimbaldi would like to speak to them. Mickey tells them to come quietly so the restaurant employees don't get hurt. Jacques tries to get them to let Chet and Steff go, but Mickey has orders. Mickey notes that Jacques doesn't have the saddle bag with him and Rimbaldi will do anything to get it. The goons put the trio into the Chargers.

Three grey Dodge Chargers pull up to Rimbaldi’s mansion, flanking the van. Mickey hops out of one of the cars and directs the goons to take the captives inside. Jacques, Steff and Chet are brought into a fancy study, bound with zip ties.

Rimbaldi greets them and Jacques spits at his feet. Rimbaldi shoots Jacques in the arm like it's nothing. He asks about Chet and Steff. Rimbaldi asks where "it" is and Jacques says he lost it. Chet tries to explain and Steff bumps him to shut him up. Rimbaldi is certain Jacques knows where it is and points a gun at him. Rimbaldi says Chet let the cat out of the bag.

Rimbaldi kills Jacques. Chet tries to escape, but can't. Rimbaldi asks them where "it" is. Steff doesn't know, but Chet does. He says he doesn't have it, the police do. He tells them they'll have to go get it. The goons free them and Rimbaldi says they have to go get it and come back. Rimbaldi threatens Chet and Steff's families, with specific names and addresses. He says they have 24 hours, then Mickey and his friends go to work. Steff pulls Chet away and they leave. Mickey and several goons follow them.

Chet drives while Steff rests. Chet asks how they're supposed to do this, but Steff doesn't know. Chet remembers the card and he calls Roger. No answer, but Roger texts back with an address. Steff does a u-turn and later pulls into the parking lot of a big box store. A food truck signals them.

Steff parks next to the truck and they walk to the back. Roger, a woman, meets them. She invites them inside. She accepts them because Jacques sent them. Inside is not a food truck, it's a surveillance vehicle. But it also makes pizza.

Later, Roger has explained the plan to them. Chet says it sounds too easy and won't work. She gives them a sonic grenade that will take out anyone not wearing the right ear plugs. And it won't last long, only several minutes. She gives them a credit card-shaped piece of plastic that will get them past the door. She says to break it and throw it in the trash once they're done. She gives them a device that can detect isotopes and will lead them quickly to what they're looking for. She gives them pizza, too.

Steff drives while Chet plays with the radio. He turns it off and asks if the plan is going to work. Steff shows him the grenade and teases him. Chet fiddles with the homing device. Steff takes it away from him and checks it out.

At the police station, Steff says she'll go in first. She won't be noticed and she's wearing ear plugs that protect her. Steff walks up to the front desk, saying she needs to report something. She pulls out the grenade and says she found it. They don't know what it is. She sets it on the desk. She pushes the button and everyone within the range of the grenade is knocked unconscious, except Steff.

Chet comes inside. Steff swipes her way into the office area and Chet finds the saddle bag. Chet snaps the plastic card in half and drops half in the closest trash can. Steff grabs the grenade and they head outside. He tosses the other half of the plastic card down a storm drain.

Murray arrives and points a gun at them. Murray tells Chet to explain what's happening or else. Chet tells the truth. Murray asks what's in the saddle bag. Chet tells her to look inside. She does and her eyes grow. She says she's never seen anything like it. Steff refuses to look. Murray remains dazed for a few seconds. Chet says he has to finish this and Murray says that he does. She gives him one hour. Then the cops are coming after him. Chet grab's Steff's hand and they run off.

Steff parks several blocks from her house and notices a dozen Harleys parked outside, the Glow Skulls. The leader of the Glow Skulls is Gollum. He says when he finds the person who killed Bryant, he's going to kill them. His two henchmen, Knives and Papa Smurf, think it had to be Steff. Gollum says that doesn't make sense.

Knives asks if he's sure it wasn't Steff because she's standing right there. Steff shifts the car into reverse and slams the gas pedal. The Glow Skulls scramble to their Harleys and give chase. Steff spins the car around and shifts. She accelerates forward, the Harleys are in pursuit.

After a block, Steff stops. Police cars have set up a barricade and aim guns at Steff. The Glow Skulls barricade the other end of the block, also armed and ready. Chet says they gotta go on foot. Officer George tells everyone to put their weapons down. The Glow Skulls refuse. Steff and Chet get out of the car, hands raised. More police arrive.

Steff and Chet take off running between nearby houses. George prevents his officers from shooting. He actually turns out to be Knives' uncle. George tells them to stand down and lets the Glow Skulls go. Murray arrives and asks what's going on. He tells her the suspects are on foot. He tells the cops to chase her.

Murray asks about the Glow Skulls, who are leaving. George says he gave them a warning. Gollum thanks him and they leave. Murray is baffled. George and the others return to their cars. Murray gets back in her car. Sheriff Buford arrives and George fills him in. Buford says he has some cars coming in from that direction and they'll squeeze the suspects.

Chet and Steff hide behind a row of hedges. Chet peeks and sees a sheriff's car. They also see the Glow Skulls. They try to run away, but a sheriff's deputy spots them. He attacks. Knives throws a blade that cuts Chet's arm. Chet and Steff run in opposite directions, hotly followed by the cops and bikers.

Officers George and Murray confront Chet in an alley, but he ducks behind a parked van. George tries to shoot Chet, but Murray stops him. George chases after Chet, but by the time he gets to the van, Chet is gone. George is furious at Murray.

As he's walking along, Chet runs into 10 men who are both neighborhood watch and on a softball team together. They're on their way back from a victorious game. They're recapping the game when they come across Chet running their direction.

Simon is wary of Chet and asks him what's the hurry. Dave and the other guys ready their bats to attack. Chet says he's being followed by bad guys. Dave thinks the story is bullshit and he's starting to win over the other guys. Simon asks where he's going and Chet starts to answer when Conklin recognizes him as a former baseball players. Conklin says Chet had the worst Major League Baseball debut he'd ever seen, striking out four times and making two errors in his first MLB game. The others relax and laugh at him. Dave asks what happened to him. Chet mumbles something about injuries, but the guys continue to make fun and laugh at him. They walk away, leaving Chet even more depressed.

Conklin returns to apologize. He hands Chet a bat to deal with the "bad guys" show up. Dave asks why Conklin did that and he says that he felt sorry for Chet. Chet grips the bat tightly and ducks between two houses.

Chet comes across a small bar called the "Four Freedoms." He goes inside before he can be seen. Inside are the members of the Four Freedoms lesbian biker gang. The women stare at him and the leader, Jett, tells him he's in the wrong place. He apologizes and says he's running from the Glow Skulls. Jett hates them and thinks they're dipshits, so she gives Chet a break.

The bartender, Ford, recognizes Chet as a baseball players. She is a USC graduate and she remembers watching him play for the school when they won the College World Series. She asks him if she can keep the bat he's holding. With an autograph. He says yes, of course. Chet runs away from the Kilo Foxtrot. Ford mounts the newly-signed bat on the wall, grinning like a fangirl.

Chet wanders towards Optimist Park again. He goes to hide, but three cars at the end of the parking lot spot him and turn their lights on him. Rimbaldi appears, saying he's very predictable. A dozen goons emerge and point their weapons at Chet. Rimbaldi tells him to hand over the bag.

Steff arrives and tells them to wait. The Glow Skulls arrive and Gollum says they're only interested in the girl. Sirens blare as police and sheriffs arrive. Everyone is armed and is ready to shoot. The sheriff says he's here to arrest them. Rimbaldi snaps his fingers and even more armed goons emerge.

Mickey puts a gun to Rimbaldi's head. He's actually Agent Caruso with the FBI. Steff puts a gun to Officer George's head. She reveals that she's actually agent Andrea Davis with the CIA. Gollum says they have enough guns to take out everyone, but Knives holds a knife to his throat. He's actually Agent Dwight from the ATF.

Various law enforcement officers escort criminals to vans and cars. Chet mumbles to himself about double-crosses and lies. Agent Caruso congratulates him and offers him a job. He goes on a fuck-filled verbal rant, telling everyone to fuck themselves. He walks away.
