Fae speaks over a black screen. The story she tells is being translated, but the translations are glitchy.
We cut to space, where a massive black craft cruises. In voiceover, Fae describes the ship, which is a massive war vessel loaded with weapons. The ship, the S.S. Matthew McConaughey has the weapons to destroy an entire planet. In this case, the target planet is called Shatner. Inside, soldiers are preparing for battle.
In addition to training facilities and weapons lockers, the ship has support staff to cover other needs. It also has food courts. On the bottom floor of the food court are stores called The Shaq, the Twiggy Play Center and a closed store called Luca's Mystery Shoppe. There are also restrooms and a bank of elevators. The second floor is filled with various restaurants and a bustling crowd, but the first floor is relatively empty.
The camera zooms into the Shaq. It's like a bodega or mini-mart, but none of the product names are recognizable. They all have names based on Earth celebrities. Leaning on the counter are Fae and Griselda, who work as clerks at the Shaq. Fae has a yellow stripe on her shoulder. Griselda has a green stripe and a necklace with a small sphynx hanging from it.
Fae admits that she's not a soldier, she works at a convenience store. Griselda is a little younger and less attractive than Fae, but they are BFFs. They work in quadrant 37 and each quadrant has a similar food court. Griselda starts stocking space toothbrushes. A few random customers mill about the store.
An angry customer approaches the counter, Fae doesn't take her seriously. Finally she does her job and rings up the item. Crew on the ship pay for things by scanning handprints. Griselda asks Fae if she's joining her in class today for astronomy. Fae says she's lost her passion for school.
Griselda asks if Fae's going to join them at the play center. Fae responds more positively to that option. Griselda asks if she's really going to play or if she just wants to see boys. Fae responds by teasing Griselda about a boy named Silas. Griselda tickles her and they roll on the floor laughing. Griselda admits she does like Silas. He's her type. Griselda teases back that Fae has a crush on a certain jock boy. Griselda says he's ALWAYS in class, once again trying to get Fae to join her in class.
Fae says she used to love school. Flashback to: Fae and Griselda sit in Cayden Ramsey's classroom. They don't know yet that their ship is an invasion ship. Ramsey leads them in science Jeopardy. Griselda and Fae both get questions right, laughing and having fun. Captain Ramsey walks into the classroom and Fae watches her in admiration.
Later, Fae and Griselda sign up for the Space Force enthusiastically. Later, Fae bids farewell to her two dads, Dan and Dave. They're civilians, so they had to stay behind as Fae went into space.
Back in the present, Griselda rings up a customer at the Shaq. Fae burps and the customer scowls. She waves him off. Fae is hungover and drinks water. Griselda, too. Griselda says that there are rumors of little red ghosts on board the ship. She teases that Fae would be safe from ghosts in class. Fae brushes her off.
Clive and Silas walk in. Fae alerts Griselda to their presence. Griselda makes eye contact with Silas. He says high. She nods. They smile. Clive pays for his items and they leave. As he leaves, he asks Fae if she's coming over to play today. Fae says to keep her gaming on the down low. He agrees and says he has to go open the gaming center. Silas and Griselda are stuck in eye-lock, no matter how much Clive tries to break it up. Silas finally says goodbye to Griselda. She waves and Smiles as they leave.
Fae makes fun of Griselda for being terrible at flirting. Griselda throws a half-empty water at Fae. It misses and hits Major as he walks into the store. Fae turns to see him and blushes. They apologize and say hi. Fae is into Major and giggles against her will. Griselda makes fun of Fae for being just as inept at flirting as she is. Major asks her why he doesn't ever see her at the gaming center.
Which is when fucking Leyton walks in with his flunky Grock. Griselda goes on break. Leyton starts insulting her, but Major tells him to shut up. Leyton and Grock try to escalate, but Major turns his back on him. Fae insults Leyton and suggests his father is here. Leyton flinches in fear. He threatens to beat Major at the gaming center and then leaves. Major and Fae agree that they hate that guy.
Griselda comes back and says she thought she waited long enough for Fae and Major's flirting to be done, too. Major asks Fae if she wants to watch, but Fae says no, she wants to play. Fae and Major run towards the play center. Griselda laments being left alone.
At the Twiggy Play Center, the teens are eager to start playing. Fae and Major flirt. Leyton and the other gamers get into their simulators. Major's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's into Fae as much as she's into him.
Leyton teases Major about being scared to play the game. Major's not intimidated, he talks trash back to Leyton. That's when Bannon, Leyton's dad, arrives. Fae insults Leyton as he goes to talk to his dad. Without his leader Leyton, Grock doesn't know how to act.
Outside, Leyton talks to his father, Bannon. Bannon is a lifelong soldier and acts like it. He's there to make sure that Leyton beats Major in the games. Bannon expresses some pretty clear misogyny about having to work for a woman captain. He wants Leyton to exact revenge on the captain's son, Major.
Walking down the corridor, Bannon runs into his wife, Betsy. She tells him he's late. He blames it on Leyton. Betsy reminds him how much the boss hates lateness.
Captain Ramsey sits in the command chair of the Matthew McConaughey. Next to her is First Officer Tatiana Dragon. Bannon and Betsy report for duty. Tatiana notes their lateness. She tells the captain that the full crew has reported and is ready for duty.
Ramsey tells the navigator, Miller, to speed up and he confirms, but with some snark under his breath. Some of the crew laugh at the captain, but she doesn't notice. Ramsey acts flustered when talking to Tatiana.
Leyton rejoins them and Major makes fun of his daddy issues. Clive and Silas come out of the back room and welcome them. Silas turns on each of the simulators. Since they're all regulars, he doesn't go over the directions again. Clive tells those who haven't logged in to do so now. Major asks Fae if she's played here without him. She lies and says no.
Major says he plays a lot because his parents have expectations. Major doesn't like war-related games. Silas asks Fae where Griselda is. She tells him Griselda is at the store. Silas walks out the door.
Ramsey sits in the captain’s chair. She swivels the chair around and faces Tatiana. She tries to be flirty, but it doesn't come across. Ramsey tells her the ship has sprung a leak and Tatiana needs to plug it. Tatiana heads to investigate. Ramsey tells Miller to speed up and he reacts snarkily.
Tatiana walks into the engineering section, mumbling to herself. She meets with Hammond, the director of engineering, as well as Bannon and Betsy. Tatiana announces the three of them are her new brain trust. Hammond is skeptical of Bannon and Betsy. Hammond says he's detected an anomaly, but he can't fully figure it out. It's concentrated in sector 37, near the food court. Tatiana tells Betsy and Bannon to get Leyton to find out what's going on from the other kids.
Griselda leans on the counter at the Shaq, lonely. Silas walks in, grinning. Griselda awkwardly tries to look her best. He browses the snacks and they flirt awkwardly. She panics, but overcomes it and the conversation calms down. He grabs a product without looking and goes to buy it. Turns out it's a box of condoms and he's embarrassed. It levels the playing field between them, though. As he reaches out to pay, and their fingers touch briefly. Silas reaches up and takes her sphynx necklace into his hand and examines it. He asks what it is and she explains it's a sphynx and they tell riddles. She loves riddles.
As they chat, Jaxon talks to her over an intercom. Jaxon is kinda obtuse but he tells her that he'll be there soon. Griselda runs out of the store to get Fae. Silas stays behind and smiles after her. He sighs.
Fae sits in her simulator, looking at a large screen. Clive says this morning's game is Mountain Chase. Major is happy. Leyton is not. Major tells Faye this is his favorite game. The one he's best at. Under her breath she says it's her favorite, too. They put on VR masks and grab joysticks. They all appear to stand at the base of a virtual mountain. Grock hates this game, too.
Clive starts the game and the players start climbing the virtual wall. Major gets off to a quick start. Fae is close behind. Grock falls to the ground and he takes off his VR helmet IRL. Major's boot gets caught in a crevice and Fae and Leyton pass him. He gets free quickly and starts making up ground.
Leyton is worried and looks back at Major. He panics and Fae passes him. Leyton struggles and almost files. Major passes him and starts to gain on Fae. Griselda comes running into the Play Center yelling for Fae. In the game, Fae is winning and she ignores Griselda at first. Griselda reminds her that Jaxon is coming by.
Fae quits the game and tells Major she'll have to beat him next time. Major easily wins and he confidently says he would like to see Fae beat him. Griselda says she left Silas in charge of the Shaq. Fae freaks out and she and Griselda run. Leyton accuses Major of cheating, but Clive says it's not possible. Major jumps up to catch Fae, but she's already gone.
Griselda walks down the hallway quickly, with Fae following. Griselda says it was the wrong day for a first date. Fae admits that it was a date. Across the courtyard, they see the red ghost person. They start to follow. It runs into the bathrooms. Griselda looks back towards the Shaq, where Silas now stands talking to Jaxon. They turn and run.
Jaxon is boring Silas to death when the girls arrive. Jaxon chides them for being late. Fae says they were on a bathroom break. Griselda thanks Silas for watching the store and he leaves, happy. Jaxon asks them if they play games over at the Play Center. Jaxon says he's a serious gamer. Then he says he doesn't actually play games, but he wishes he did. He wanted to be a soldier when he was a kid, but they wouldn't let him serve.
Jaxon tells them he's there about little red men. His superiors want to find the aliens or ghosts or whatever are on the ship. Jaxon doesn't believe in any of it, but he wants to cover his ass. He tells them to keep their eyes peeled. They say they will.
Jaxon leaves the Shaq and runs into Ellery O'Brien, the sector 37 social director. They are polite, but once they are out of earshot, Jaxon calls Ellery a weirdo and Ellery calls Jaxon a neanderthal. Ellery continues to the Shaq.
Fae is basically asleep on the counter. Griselda sees Ellery approaching and wakes Fae. Ellery notes that neither of them has been participating in the weekly Sector 37 social, which is mandatory. He says they have to come to this Friday's social or they'll be docked pay. Griselda and Fae tell him they'll be there. Ellery leaves and they immediately say hey are NOT going to the social. Fae goes back to sleep.
Ramsey stares into the mirror, making sure she looks perfect and professional. Cayden is still in his bathrobe, drinking a cocktail. She asks him if he'll hurry up and he says probably not. She stares at him and he gets it. He goes to pour himself another drink and she warns him not to do it, before pouring her one first. He does. She relaxes a bit after she drinks it. She tells him he has five minutes to get ready or she's headed to the divorce center.
Ramsey walks down the hall with Cayden in tow. They bump into Major. Major asks where they are headed this time of night and Captain Ramsey asks him the same thing. Cayden drinks. Ramsey notes that Major has been missing some training sessions and that he has to go, even if he doesn't want to. She knows he doesn't like wargaming, Cayden didn't either, but it's important. He says he'll start going again and she hugs him.
Major walks to the Shaq with a frown. The metal gate is down, so he knocks on the side door. Fae opens it and invites him inside. Inside is a bit of a party, with drinks and merriment. The party welcomes Major with cheers. Fae offers him a drink, but he can't because they get tested. He's going pro, the first time in a while someone from sector 37 qualified. Fae hugs him and then gets embarrassed. Major likes it. Silas says he has a surprise for everyone and pulls out Humperdinks, a type of alcohol. It's "fancy," but gross.
Later, Fae, Griselda, Silas and Major stand outside the now closed and locked Shaq. A loud crash rings out in the food court. Fae points to a little alien in a red space suit near a knocked-over trash can. It runs into the bathroom. Griselda and Fae give chase. Major follows, leaving Silas alone. He's scared, but he eventually joins them.
In the Officer’s Lounge, top level crew members from around the ship are dressed in formal wear. Ramsey and Cayden arrive. Miller announces their arrival. Everyone stands at attention until she puts them at ease. The party resumes. Miller chugs his drink and leaves. Ramsey greets everyone as she enters the room. Cayden makes a beeline for the bar. Cayden overhears two men talking about how Ramsey only got the gig so the fleet could have a woman captain a ship. And if she fails, it'll be a decade before another woman gets a shot.
Ramsey talks to a group of old men, retired captains. They're all trying to give her advice. She says they're going to run a standard protocol. But they caution that research is key for that protocol. She's done more scans than they expect. The bartender asks Cayden why his isn't participating in the networking. Cayden says he already did his time, but he's retired. But he's married, so he's here.
Ramsey pulls Tatiana aside and tells her that the council of captains is watching every step she takes. She tells Tatiana to get the situation under control. Ramsey calms down and apologizes for her harsh tone. They briefly touch hands and there is a spark. Tatiana leaves the party to work the case. Ramsey and Cayden leave as well.
Fae, Griselda, Major and Silas stand outside the bathrooms. They split up and men go in the men's room and women go in the women's room. They come back out moments later and neither group found anything.
Later, at the Shaq, Griselda rings up a customer while Fae chugs water. Fae asks what that was they saw last night. The customer leaves. Griselda starts stocking and finds several opened packages of tortilla chips, but only a few chips have been eaten. Then they notice that ALL the potato snacks are gone. Griselda wants to ask Silas about it, so she runs out the door.
Clive is leaving the Play Center as Griselda comes in. He tries to tell her they aren't open yet, but she says she's not there to play, she's there to see Silas. Clive says he's towards the back working on the Dweezil box. Griselda looks around for Silas, but can't find him at first. She calls out for him and he jumps, smashing his head into a panel. He falls onto his but. Griselda steps forward to comfort him, rubbing his head.
Silas freezes. He points to the ghost. But it's more of a humanoid in a suit of red hard plastic armor and a helmet that covers its face. Silas says it can't be a ghost because it's real. He says it's an alien. She says they have to catch it. He asks if it is dangerous. She's more interested in them becoming heroes for catching it. They move to flank the alien. It tries to run, but they pounce.
Fae leans on the counter, barely awake. Griselda returns and asks her to promise not to freak out. She calls for Silas to come in. He does. With the alien. Fae freaks out and knocks over a candy jar. The alien escapes and rushes across the food court. They give chase.
Fae stands outside the bathrooms, waiting. Major and Silas comes across the food court. Fae tells them that they found the alien and leads them into the women's room. Silas is scared to go in, but they talk him into it. Inside she shows them a panel that leads to a dark space. Fae and Major go. Silas hangs back, but eventually follows.
Fae leads them inside Luca’s Mystery Shoppe. It was a weed shop, but it's closed. The alien hides behind the counter, except there are now two of them. Silas asks a bunch of questions, but the alien's responses are muffled. It takes off its helmet to reveal a human. It's Waverly. The other takes off his helmet and it's Olmos. They are able to understand each other, but don't know why. Silas asks if they're going to eat them. He says no, they are here because the ship is going to destroy their home.
Fae flashes back to waving to her two fathers waving goodbye as she leaves them behind.
Fae and Griselda say they'll help. They have to get back before lockdown, but they'll come back to talk more tomorrow. They leave.
Tatiana, Betsy and Bannon cross the food court. Tatiana says she's going to talk to the play center manager and the others should check the upper food court.
Tatiana walks into the Play Center, which is still not open. Clive checks out the simulators for maintenance purposes as she approaches to talk to him. She asks if he knows who she is. Clive says he does by reputation. She asks if he knows why she's here. He says it's something about the glitch. She asks if he's figured out what it is yet. He says no. She calls for Hammond to join her. Tatiana says he needs to come with her for a full debrief.
Hammond is at the work panel when Silas, Griselda, Fae and Major walk in. Silas calls to his father, but it isn't him, it's Hammond. Silas asks if they can help him. Hammond says he's been ordered to examine the Play Center to find a glitch. Griselda asks if he's figured it out. Hammond says he has. It's above her security clearance. Clive returns and he and Hammond know each other. Hammond explains what's going on, it allows something to get through. Griselda asks how they fix it. Hammond says they're going to need a Spurlock. He's completely out and there aren't any on the ship. Then he finds one. He says its in Storage Closet 59. Clive ask Hammond to keep things quiet for a few days and Hammond agrees because they aren’t in any real danger. Clive turns to Silas and says he doesn't know what they're up to, but he trusts them. He's here if they need him.
A tired customer waits in the Shaq, but nobody is there to ring them up.
The group sits in a circle in the Mystery Shoppe. Fae takes a big hit from a pipe and passes it to Griselda, who hits it as well. Fae asks Waverly and Olmos what's going on. They say this ship is being sent to kill everyone on their home planet. They aren't as advanced, but they're willing to fight to the death. But they are inferior, so they will all die. Fae says "unless we help you." The men nod. Griselda asks what they need. They say they could use the invasion plans so they could prepare. They also need to get home and they got in through the glitch in the gaming system, which is broken. Fae says they'll get the plans first and worry about getting them home after that. Fae leaves to go get snacks. Silas and Griselda kiss. Major awkwardly talks to Waverly and Olmos.
Fae runs across the food court and into the Shaq. A customer waits. She starts to ring up the customer, but quickly changes her mind and grabs an armful of snacks. Tatiana arrives to question her. Tatiana asks if she's leaving early. Fae says she's making a delivery. Tatiana asked when that started. Fae says it's new. For special customers. Tatiana asks her if she noticed anything out of the ordinary lately. Fae says not that she knows of. Tatiana asks about ghosts or aliens. Fae asks if she's on a space pranks show. Tatiana tells her to report to her if anything weird comes up. Tatiana leaves. Then Fae does. Leaving the tired customer waiting.
Leyton walks into his family’s quarter. He prepares to masturbate to alien porn when the front door opens and his parents walk in. Betsy tells him to compose himself. Leyton cleans up. Bannon changes the channel and starts watching TV. Betsy pours herself a double at the bar. She asks Leyton who his degenerate friends are. She doesn't mean Grock, he comes from a good family. Leyton says the others aren't his friends. She says he sure spends a lot of time with them. Leyton says hey don't like him and he doesn't like them. Betsy tells him to found out what the other kids know. He asks "knows about what?" She replies anything interesting. He doesn't want to, but his dad told him to do it anyway.
Griselda pulls down the gate and locks up the store, despite the customer who still waits. Fae walks towards the office, saying they've got more snacks for the humans. Griselda hustles the customer out he door and tries to shut the door. Leyton and Grock push it open. Leyton asks what they're up to. Leyton asks them if they know what's going on. Griselda and Fae are instantly onto them. They tell him he sounds like a narc. Even Grock asks if he's a narc. Leyton leaves, but steels cheese nips on the way out. Grock calls Fae and Griselda narcs and leaves.
Fae and Griselda walk into the Mystery Shoppe, they've brought snacks. She tosses the snacks to the group and they scramble to eat. Waverly asks who the woman was, and they tell her she's the ship's second-in-command. They all try t o figure out what to do. Silas points out that it's their home planet. Griselda says they could file an application for a change of venue. Everybody scoffs and goes back to planning.
Griselda walks into the clerk's office and hands a form to the clerk. He looks it over and tells her to sign the form. He says she's done and that he'll process the application as soon as possible, which should take 6-12 months.
Ramsey sits in the captain’s chair, flanked by Tatiana and Major. Tatiana says they've narrowed the leak down to sector 37. She doesn't know what it is yet, but she's on it. Ramsey tells Miller to speed up. Tatiana says they'll search that sector room-by-room and she wants to check out the closed mystery shop. Major overhears and rushes from the room. Ramsey says Tatiana is really good at her job, then blushes in reaction. Ramsey tells Miller to speed up again.
Griselda and Fae are working, but they're hungover. Major comes in and tells them that the captain and ship leaders know everything. Fae says they need a plan and shuts the shop down. They go to the mystery shoppe and Major tells them that Leyton knows their secret.
Waverly and Olmos hide while the others face off against Leyton. They've told him what's going on and he says he'll help one one condition, they have to beat him at the gaming center. Leyton wants to play Zoom Zoom, but Major isn't shocked. He's ready to go.
One minute later, Major has won. Leyton throws his VR helmet across the room. He pouts and asks them what he has to do. Major asks him if his parents run the Military Training Center in Sector 59. He says yes. They tell him they need the keys to the center's storage room. Leyton says there's no way he's getting the key from his parents. He says they keep it in a safe. Leyton says he's been trained in safecracking. Griselda asks what kind of training he's in but he ignores her. The safe is too strong for Major to crack. It's a top of the line safe. Leyton says Ellery has a key. Griselda says they just need to distract Ellery and steal the key. They start making a plan.
Fae knocks on Ellery’s office door. He answers the door and isn't excited to see her. Until she says she's thinking of starting up a recreational Calvinball league. Then Ellery gets excited. She wants to see the courts. He grabs a set of keys and leads her out the office door. Griselda and Silas sneak in behind them and into Ellery's office. They look around for the key. The leave the office as Ellery returns with the keys in his hand. Fae follows him carrying a tub of big red balls.
Ellery asks them what they're doing coming out of his office. Fae points out the keys to the others and dumps the red balls onto the ground. Ellery stumbles and throws the keys into the air. Griselda bumps Ellery, knocking him to the ground, and catches the keys. They run as Ellery bounces and falls among the balls.
Fae, Griselda and Silas run into he military training center. A dozen or so soldiers work out. Major slips in among the crowd. Leyton is already stationed near the entrance, pretending to work out. Fae walks towards the storage door. Griselda and Silas casually follow. Ellery arrives and points them out. Griselda, Silas and Fae split up and go down different aisles.
Ellery rushes at Fae and she tosses the keys to Griselda. Fae distracts him and cuts Griselda off. She tosses the keys to Major. Ellery turns towards him and knocks over someone who is lifting weights, causing a crash. Major doesn't trust Leyton, so he throws the keys to Fae. Leyton considers taking the keys but instead he goes towards the front of the room.
Betsy and Bannon emerge from the office to see the commotion. Leyton lets his parents know that he's trying to get info from his friends, but if Ellery catches them, it won't work. Bannon and Betsy pull Ellery aside. He tries to explain himself, but Betsy waves him off. They kick him out. Leyton runs to join Fae, Griselda ans Silas as they go into the closet.
Silas shuts the door behind them and blocks it with his body. They look around and can't find anything at first. Silas thinks he has it figured out. He and Griselda flirt and then kiss. Fae hurries them. Silas searches around and finds a secret panel that leads to another room. They walk into the room, which is empty except for a single desk with an ancient computer. Sitting at the computer is a sphynx named Liberace.
Griselda gets excited because this is the part with the riddles. Silas loves her enthusiasm. Liberace (the sphynx), says it is, indeed, time for a puzzle. Silas says the sphynx isn't real, it's a security device pulled from Griselda's mind. She loves solving riddles and that's her thing. Liberace offers up a riddle. Silas things the answer is 349 and Griselda figures it out. She says one. They try to stop her, but she makes the answer and the sphynx says she's correct. Silas gets it once she explains. Liberace opens a wall to reveal a treasure chest. Griselda opens the box and a Spurlock is inside. That's great, but they still need to get the plans. Leyton says he's got this one. They're shocked, but they follow him.
Leyton and Fae sit in side-by-side gaming simulators. Fae has to win. 59 seconds later, Fae has won. Leyton caves and gives them the plans. He had them all along, he got them from his parents. Tatiana arrives and orders them all arrested.
A small judicial chamber is packed. The tribunal consists of Tatiana, Betsy and Bannon. Fae, Griselda, Leyton, Silas and Major stand at trial. Tatiana says she has never witnessed such conduct aboard a ship she's served on. Clive cites code and withdraws Silas from this proceeding. Tatiana checks her tablet and says he is right. Silas hugs his father.
Major steps up and notes his rank and training. He says if he observed correctly, Tatiana didn't inform the captain about this proceeding. Tatiana mutters "fuck" to herself and says he's right. Major notes that means the proceeding is invalid. Tatiana says he is correct and the chamber is dismissed.
Leyton reveals that not only do they know where the alien is, they know where TWO aliens are. Fae tries to deny it and she and Leyton get into an argument. Tatiana bangs a gavel and shuts everyone up. She says that Fae and Griselda are subject to community service until they reveal where the aliens are.
Ellery watches over Fae and Griselda as they scrub graffiti off of a bathroom wall. Fae says this isn't her fault that they're in this situation. Ellery tells them to calm down and leaves. Fae and Griselda get into an argument. Fae didn't want to do any of the adventures they've been on. She says Griselda made her. Griselda responds that Fae is a dick. Fae gets up and leaves. Griselda follows.
Griselda runs across the food court and Fae emerges from the bathroom. Fae says she's going to find Ms. Dragon, but Griselda says no. Griselda tackles her and they fall to the ground, rolling around and fighting. They break a table with a glass top, breaking it. Glass cuts Fae across the cheek. She doesn't bleed, though, the glass tears a hole through her "skin" to realize that she is really a green reptilian alien. They stop fighting and Griselda tells her that she's "showing." Waverly checks on Olmos and they stare at the aliens.
Fae flashes back to her two fathers waving goodbye to Fae as she leaves home.
Olmos wakes up and returns Waverly's kiss. Fae agrees to help. Tatiana walks in and catches them. She has guards grab them and take them to the bridge.
The captain sits in her chair while Fae, Griselda and their friends are surrounded by soldiers. Waverly and Olmos are in chains. Ramsey announces it's time to destroy the Earth. Waverly cries out that it's her home. Ramsey ignores her. Fae tells her to stop, but Ramsey ignores her, too. Major tries to talk to her, but he has to yell to get her to listen.
Major tells his mom to let Fae talk because she's smart. Fae talks about how she left home in order to explore the universe and she's working as a clerk. Griselda says she WANTS to be a clerk, she enjoys it. Fae supports her. She left home to save it and its people and she got sidetracked. And the humans are here to save THEIR home. She asks if they can go somewhere else and not attack the Earth.
Ramsey says okay and contacts the Galactic Control Center. She tells them that the Earth is a bad target and listens to the response. Ramsey tells them the Control Center said no and they still have to attack Earth. Ramsey turns to execute the orders. Leyton laughs, this is fun for him.
The clerk, Spielberg, comes running in holding papers. He hands he orders he's holding to Ramsey. She says that the forms are a properly filed change of venue form. The one Griselda filed earlier. The Earth is no longer a target. Everyone jumps for joy except for Leyton, who sobs.
Some time later, Griselda still works at the Shaq. Her new co-worker is Silas. Fae doesn't work there now, she's actually pursuing school and is working her way up the ranks. Fae visits Griselda at the Shaq and they hug.
A black screen says that the translation has ended.
