Logline: Even when slugging it out with Nazis, giant frogs from Hell, and the world's worst supervillains, superhero members of S.P.L.O.O.S.H. might be their own worst enemies.
"S.P.L.O.O.S.H." has the tone and combination of action and comedy seen in movies such as "Deapool." The screenplay follows a diverse (in terms of gender, race, sexuality) group of superheroes as they battle a series of increasingly difficult and increasingly strange and funny enemies. As the story unfolds, Puppy, a brilliant 13-year-old superhero with a magic pouch that produces steampunk technology, starts to unravel a conspiracy that may lead back to her very own teammates.
Then they have to fight a giant robot Hitler frog.
The movie is both a satire of super hero movies and comic books and a loving tribute to the genre from a superfan. It works for both the casual fan that wants to see the next "Deadpool" and the more hardcore Comic Con fan who will obsess over the references and in-jokes subtly woven through the story.
