Shirley records a make-up tutorial for TikTok. She grew up with her Aunt Fritzi, a drag queen whose make-up she used to teach herself. The phone rings and someone informs her that her college friend Dwayne died.

A doctor tells Roger that his cancer has cancer. Roger gets a second opinion and his cancer is actually gone. Shirley calls Roger and tells him about Dwayne.

Dee pulls clothes out of the dryer and realizes her husband turned them all pink by including red socks in the load. It ruined his favorite jersey and she confronts him about it. He laughs it off and turns his attention towards the night's football game. She goes to be and he badgers her about cooking for him. When she doesn't answer, he complains that she's probably writing one of her dumb-ass books. He turns up the volume on the TV.

Dee is working on her latest book. Her previous books sit on the nightstand. They are crime novels where she is an active hero and her husband is hotter and more supportive. They're just fantasies. The phone rings and she learns about Dwayne.

Fred is the founder and CEO of his own business. He's also bored at the end of the day when his last employee leaves. He drinks spiked coffee and laments that he has nothing to do outside of business hours. Dee calls to tell him about Dwayne.

At Dwayne's funeral, the friends talk to his mother, Mabel. She wants them to stop by her house and go through Dwayne's things. They do, but it feels morbid, so they don't really take anything. Fred talks about being overwhelmed by everything and not wanting to go back to work. He lost touch with them because he got too much into his business. Roger asks about Shirley's aunt, who he met because she worked as a professional clown. Shirley says her aunt was her only friend until she met them. Fred says he needs a fresh start. Dee says they all do. Roger suggests they do the things on Dwayne's bucket list. Shirley is all in, but they have to convince Fred and Dee.

Roger reads the list and the friends react to the weirdness and randomness of the items on the list: 1. Smoke marijuana. 2. Steal a car. 3. Sell to an undercover agent, but don’t get caught. 4. Go to an orgy. 5. Snort coke and do karaoke. 6. Take a yacht out on the water. 7. Become a superhero and stop a crime. 8. Go snorkeling. 9. Climb a mountain. 10. Do something you’ve never done before. 11. Play in a rock band.

They go to Roger's house. Roger brings out a cookie tin and Shirley bets Fred that it's a sewing kit, not cookies. It's actually weed, but there is a needle and a spool of thread inside, which Dee says counts as a sewing kit. Fred says since she won the bet, she can have his business.

They walk down a suburban street, trying to find a car to steal. Most of them are locked. Roger tries to pick the locks of a car and breaks the picks. Finally, they find a car with keys in it and they steal it. Someone shoots at them as they leave, but aren't close to hitting anything.

Later, they abandon the car in a McDonald's parking lot. Roger does a half-assed job of cleaning the car of their prints, so Shirley snatches the handkerchief from him and does a much more thorough cleaning job. Later, Max and Wade steal the car. Then they get nuggets.

At Fred's House, the friends try to figure out how to sell to an undercover agent without getting caught. Roger has an idea.

Fred and Shirley sit in Dee's car watching Roger talk to Officer Haywood. The two are familiar from something they won't talk about. Roger says he heard the dispensary sold weed to kids. Haywood goes in to check the place out.

Roger gets in the car with Shirley and Fred. Roger tries to explain how he knows the cop and does a bad job of it.

Haywood goes inside and buys weed from Dee, who pretends to work there. Shirley explains to Fred and Roger that the woman who runs the dispensary is friends with her aunt.

Back outside, Haywood introduces Roger to a teen, Keefer. Keefer haggles for more money, then goes inside the dispensary. He walks up to the counter and orders some weed. Dee asks for his ID, but he doesn't have one. Danielle kicks him out.

Back outside, Haywood gives Keefer $50 and he runs off. Roger apologizes for wasting Haywood's time and asks Haywood to buy him dinner. At the Sizzler.

At Fred's House, they eat dinner when Shirley asks if anybody has ever been to an orgy. Fred hasn't, much to their surprise. An even bigger surprise is that Dee has been to an orgy. One without boys. Fred asks if she's a lesbian and she shrugs in response. They ask how to find an orgy and Dee says online, of course.

They arrive at a private home for the orgy. They are definitely out of place. They go inside. The people having the orgy are weird and seem to be having no fun. After they watch for a while, the friends say it's time to leave. Roger says he's going to stay. After making a big deal of leaving, Shirley sneaks back in after Dee and Fred are gone.

The friends sit around Fred's house drinking when they read the list and find that "snort coke and do karaoke" is next. Roger asks how they get coke and Fred knows a guy, obviously. They arrive at the drug dealer's house. It's scary. They all think they're going to die, except Fred, who convinces them to go inside.

The drug dealer, Dracaris, and his massive brother, Dragon, welcome the friends. He fronts them $500 of coke. They say it's too much and ask him to sell them a smaller amount, but he says no. He lets them leave without paying, but says they'd better pay him back soon.

They go downstairs into a basement karaoke bar. It's packed, but a sign says there is a karaoke contest for $500 that starts shortly. Fred says they have to win. Dee says she's going to need a LOT more coke before she can sing. They all jam into a bathroom stall and Fred takes charge of the cocaine prep, he's apparently done it before more than once. He passes it to the others.

Various other contestants compete in the contest and do well. The friends advance to the final after doing "You Give Love A Bad Name" by Bon Jovi. In the final, a VERY coked-out Roger wins the contest by performing "Alphabet Aerobics," by Blackalicious.

Dee drives away from the bar and they sing in joy. They won the contest. Roger said he learned that song from seeing Daniel Radcliffe do it on the Tonight Show. They stop by to pay off Dracaris. Shirley asks Fred if he can help them fund the Bucket List, but he says his money isn't liquid. Shirley says they're in trouble, since they have to steal a yacht next.

At the Yacht Club, the friends look around and decide that the yacht to steal is the one named "The Bucket List." They go inside and Dee distracts the customer service rep inside. Shirley steals the keys.

Shirley pilots the yacht away from the dock, saying her father taught her. They hit rough waters and Roger falls out of the boat. After getting him, they end up stranded several miles away from shore, the yacht is out of fuel. Shirley didn't check out the yacht before they stole it and now they have to swim back. There are only three life jackets, though, and Roger gives Shirley a pair of water wings instead.

Another day, the friends are dressed in superhero costumes. Dee shows them a flyer for a series of thefts at a retirement village. At the village, they talk to the manager, who tells them someone has been stealing sentimental items, things too cheap for the cops to get involved. That's why he needs their help.

Roger, dressed in his Batman costume, hides in an old woman's room as bait. Diane, the thief, is dressed as Catwoman. She attempts to steal something and Roger turns on the light, busting her. The 80-year-old Diane seduces Roger and he goes with it. The sex was better than the theft, so she turns herself in.

Next up is snorkeling and Shirley says she knows a TikToker that owns a SCUBA shop. They go offshore a bit to go snorkeling. Roger is the farthest away from the boat when it's time to return. Fred quickly joins the others on the boat as a group of jellyfish move in on them. Roger swims across a defensive barracuda that rips his shorts off. He swims back to the boat naked, just barely arriving before the jellyfish surround him.

The friends visit an outdoor store and the clerk, Digger, shows them the gear they will need to climb a mountain and it's waaaay too expensive. Digger asks them what they can afford, and it's basically nothing. Digger gets a bright idea and the group goes outside and climbs the wall of the store, which has a giant mural painting of a mountain on the side.

Next up, the group has to decide to do something they've never done before. They're at a loss for ideas until Roger tells them to follow him. Later, they stand outside a fancy hotel and smoke weed. Roger leads them inside to a heated pool and they go skinny dipping. As they jump in the water, they splash and older couple. The older couple goes and gets the manager. When he arrives, he calls for security and they chase our nude heroes out the door.

They splash water on an Older couple who were just passing through the area. The Older Couple hurries off to talk to the manager.

The last item on the Bucket List is to play in a rock band. Fred suddenly has some money and says he'll take charge of this one. He buys them instruments, pays for lessons, they practice, he pays for them to get into the talent show and they are as ready as they can be for the talent show.

The friends are on stage, ready to be a rock band. They start playing and are terrible. So bad their sounds cause the Big Glass Trophy for the contest to shatter. The MC kicks them out and the crowd rushes them. They are stripped naked and force to run out of the bar.

Fred finishes packing up his office. One of the friends calls him and he tells them he sold the business. And now it's time to do HIS bucket list.
