Shirley records a make-up tutorial for TikTok when a call tells her that her friend Dwayne died.
A doctor tells roger that he has very intense cancer. A second opinion tells him his cancer is gone. Shirley tells him bout Dwayne's death.
Dee's husband ruined all his clothes in the dryer and she confronts him about it. He laughs it off.
Dee's husband complains about her career as a writer.
Dee works on her latest book, she writes crime novels where she is the hero. The phone rings and she learns about Dwayne.
Fred has started his own business and is closing down his office when Dee calls to tell him about Dwayne.
At Dwayne's funeral, his mother Mabel tells his friends that they should go through his things and take what they want. It feels wrong to them, so they don't really take anything.
Fred is overwhelmed and doesn't want to go back to his business.
Fred says he needs a fresh start, Dee says they all do.
They find Dwayne's bucket list and Roger and Shirley convince Fred and Dee to do everything on Dwayne's list.
Roger reads the Bucket List: 1. Smoke marijuana. 2. Steal a car. 3. Sell to an undercover agent, but don’t get caught. 4. Go to an orgy. 5. Snort coke and do karaoke. 6. Take a yacht out on the water. 7. Become a superhero and stop a crime. 8. Go snorkeling. 9. Climb a mountain. 10. Do something you’ve never done before. 11. Play in a rock band.
At Roger's house, they smoke weed and decide to do the things on the bucket list.
The group tries to easily steal a car but struggles.
They find a car with the keys in it and steal it.
Someone shoots at them as they leave, but they get away.
Later, they dispose of the car at a McDonald's, cleaning the car of fingerprints. The car is later stolen.
At Fred's house, the friends figure out how to sell to an undercover agent without getting caught.
Fred and Shirley watch Roger implement his plan with Officer Haywood.
Roger joins Shirley and Fred, trying to explain where he knows Haywood from. He's not convincing.
Haywood goes inside and buys weed from Dee, who pretends to work there.
Haywood introduces Roger to a teen, Keefer, who is inside to order weed.
The manager, Dee, kicks Keefer out of the store.
Haywood gives Keefer $50 and he leaves.
Roger apologizes for wasting Haywood's time and asks Haywood to take him to dinner.
They talk about orgies and Dee is the only one who has been to one and she says you find them online.
They go to a private home for the orgy, but don't participate.
Almost immediately the leave. Except for Roger.
Shirley leaves and sneaks back in.
They discuss how to get coke.
They visit Fred's drug dealer and are very afraid.
The dealer fronts them $500 worth of coke and won't sell a smaller amount. Lacking sufficient cash, they have to pay him back.
At the karaoke bar, they discover a $500 singing contest.
They decide to participate so they can win the money.
They do more coke to prepare.
They advance to the final round after singing Bon Jovi.
A VERY coked-out Roger wins the money by doing "Alphabetic Aerobics," by Blackalicious.
They pay off the drug dealer.
Shirley asks Fred if he can help pay for the costs of the bucket list, but he says his money isn't liquid.
At the Yacht Club, they decide to steal the yacht named "The Bucket List." Dee distracts the customer service rep and Shirley steals the keys.
Shirley pilots the yacht, her father taught her.
Roger falls out of the boat and they rescue him.
The rescue uses all their gas and they are stranded several miles from shore.
They swim back.
The friends dress up as superheroes and visit a retirement village.
Someone has been stealing items too cheap to get the cops involved.
Roger is the bait and catches the thief.
Roger her has sex with the 80-year-old thief.
Shirley has a friend who owns a SCUBA shop and has the equipment they need.
Roger gets into an altercation with a barracuda and gets stripped naked.
He has to swim fast to avoid a school of jellyfish.
The clerk at an outdoor shop shows the friends the equipment they need for mountain climbing and it's too expensive.
They get around the bucket list item by climbing the side of a building that bears a painting of a mountain.
When it comes to doing something they've never done before, Roger talks them into skinny dipping in a hotel pool.
They splash water on an older couple who then go to get the manager, who chases them away.
Fred has money now and says he'll take charge of helping them play in a rock band.
He buys them instruments and pays for them to get into the talent show.
At the talent show, they play and they are terrible. So bad they shatter a glass trophy case.
The MC kicks them out and the crows strips them naked and forces them to run out of the bar.
Fred packs his office when one of his friends calls. Fred sold the business and it's time to do HIS bucket list.
