The Maze and the Monster

Logline: A soldier on the run from his own squad enters a maze to hide only to find that something already lives there, something deadly.

Summary: While on deployment, a squad of American soldiers take part in an unspeakable act. One of the soldiers, Gibson, can't take the guilt and goes AWOL.

Led by squad leaders Thomas and Tarrant, the other soldiers track Gibson to a mysterious maze. As the squad enters, tensions are high. The team's point man, Perez, didn't participate in the unspeakable act, despite orders to do so. Thomas, and Tarrant in particular, want to punish him, but they need to catch Gibson first.

Once inside the maze, the squad splits up to track down Gibson. The monster that lives in the maze begins to pick off the squad, one member at a time. Perez and Gibson must team up to fight the monster or no one will leave the maze alive.
