Andrew, a married man, walks into a diner. He looks at his phone and sees a picture of Selene. He finds her in the diner and sits down with her. She's short with him and tells him to sit down.

Selene asks him what he'd like for his last meal. He says nothing, but she insists he have coffee. Selene questions Andrew. He says he's from Savannah, Georgia. Andrew changes his mind about breakfast, but Selene cuts him off. She says that his answers to her questions matter. She shows him her pistol. Andrew asks her what's going on, but she threatens him to be quiet. He finally listens.

She asks if he knows why they're where they are. He has some idea. She says he should have clarity by now.

Andrew reaches in his pocket and feels around for something.

Selene asks if Andrew remembers "him." He does. She asks if "he" should be angry at Andrew. He's hesitant and unsure. She makes him wait. Then she insults his intelligence. He says he just made a mistake.

Andrew offers her money, but she says that's not what she wants. She says he KNOWS what she wants. He says he doesn't have it.

He pulls a bronze medallion covered in ornate symbols from his pocket. Selene doesn't see it. He says he wishes he never met her as he rubs the medallion. It glows faintly blue.

Selene pulls out her phone and shows a live feed of Martina, Andrew's wife, who is bound and gagged and held captive by a man with a gun. She tells Andrew that if he does anything other than quietly walk out of the diner, Martina will die.

Andrew slowly gets up slowly and walks towards the door. Selene tosses cash on the table and nods farewell to the waitress. Andrew walks outside and Selene follows. She tells him to go around to the side of the building. He tries to argue his way out of it, but she pulls out the gun and threatens him. He goes around the side of the building. She asks him his name. He says he's Andrew Riley. She shoots him in the back of the head.

The story starts over again with Andrew sitting in his car. He gets out and walks up to the door of the diner exactly like he did the first time. Nothing changes. He sits down again and the conversation repeats as it did earlier until he makes a choice to change things. He stands up and says he's not playing this game. He walks away, rubbing the medallion in his pocket and mumbling "I wish I'd never met you." The medallion glows blue. He runs for his car, but Selene catches up to him and shoots him before he can get in.

The story starts over again, this time Andrew is driving and pulls into the diner. He parks in the same spot as earlier. He goes up to the front door of the diner like last time, but he changes his mind and goes and gets back in his car. He starts to drive home when his phone gets a text. He pulls over to the side of the road and screams. He throws the phone and it bounces off of the windshield and lands face up on the seat. It shows a picture of Martina, who has been shot in the head. He pulls over and rages in his car. Andrew pulls out the medallion, which glows blue, and screams "I wish I'd never met you." Selene drives by, unnoticed. Andrew drives home, unknowingly passing by Selene's car, which is empty. He parks and goes inside his house, where pictures of him and Martina, including their wedding, are everywhere. Selene is waiting for him inside. She asks his name and then shoots him dead.

The story starts over again, this time Andrew is at home. He's getting ready for work and walks into the kitchen where Martina is cooking. She compliments him and he says he has a business meeting today. She starts to ask him about the "business," but he tells her not to talk about it and leaves. Andrew drives to the diner and goes inside. The sequence of events is identical to the first time he went in. Near the end of the conversation, he pulls out the medallion and rubs it while telling Selene "I wish I'd never met you." She insults him and shows him the video feed of Martina being held hostage. Andrew breaks the pattern and even Selene knows it. She tells him to go outside and follows him. Outside, he goes around the corner of the diner and pulls a gun on Selene. He fires and misses. She kills him.

The story starts over, this time it's years earlier. Andrew walks out of the diner and sees Selene staring at him from out of a car. He accidentally bumps into Martina, who doesn't know him. Andrew looks up and sees Selene putting a silencer on a pistol. Andrew turns back to Martina and apologizes. She starts to flirt and this looks to be their meet-cute. Andrew apologizes as he sees Selene roll down her window and point her gun at them. He apologizes again and walks away. Martina is baffled by his rudeness. Selene stands down and Andrew and Martina part ways forever.

Andrew gets in his car and drives away. He hopes this will finally work and he cries at his loss. Selene gets out of her car and walks towards the diner. A gunshot goes off, but the camera doesn't show who shot or got shot.

The story starts over. Andrew wakes up. Alone. He gets up and he wears no wedding ring and there are no pictures of him and Martina. Andrew goes into the kitchen, he's hungry. The medallion hangs from the fridge.
